Anxiety and Depression

These two troubling mind states normally appear hand in hand like a committed couple. 

 

In my practice, I look at cause: physical level causes such as diet and lifestyle habits such as addictions.

 

Anxiety plagues us when we are stressed and stress comes when there is emotional excitement within us which we can neither identify or acknowledge nor express. 

 

And so when we don’t know how to travel through our sadness and despair, for example, then depression results.
